The aim of the Adult Food Literacy Program is to increase the prevalence of healthy eating behaviours amongst WA adults and families living in low socioeconomic circumstances

Food Literacy and Skill Development in Adults

The program will focus on providing skills to choose and prepare healthy foods through practical interactive workshops.

We will offer the following:

  • Single sessions to community groups of 1-2 hours

  • Comprehensive series of 3 sessions to community groups

  • Intensive series of 4-6 sessions for small groups

The Food Sensations® Adult Food Literacy Program is based on the Department of Health's FOODcents® program and can be tailored to the specific needs of each group. Food Sensations® can be delivered to adult groups from various cultural, linguistic and social backgrounds.
